SlangBit is designed to perform translations locally on your device.

The text you translate is processed on your computer and is not sent to Memmola Labs, cloud translation services or third-party servers.

Data Collection

SlangBit does not collect personal data.

SlangBit does not require:

User accounts
Login credentials
Email registration
Cloud synchronization
Telemetry tracking

Translated Text

Text selected, copied or translated through SlangBit remains on your device.

Memmola Labs does not receive, store, analyze or transmit translated text.

Language Packages

SlangBit may allow users to download language packages.

When downloading language packages, your device may connect to official distribution servers or repositories in order to retrieve the selected package files.

These downloads are used only to install local translation models.

Internet Access

SlangBit may use an internet connection only for limited functions such as:

Downloading language packages
Checking package metadata
Opening official documentation or support pages

Translation itself is performed locally after the required language package is installed.

Clipboard Access

SlangBit uses the system clipboard as part of its translation workflow.

Clipboard content is processed locally and is not transmitted outside your computer.

Third-Party Services

SlangBit does not use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs or cloud translation APIs.

Children's Privacy

SlangBit is a productivity tool and is not directed specifically at children.

The application does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
